Boracay is a small island in the Philippines located approximately 315 km (196 mi) south of Manila in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. Part of the fun of Boracay is getting there. There are no bridges or roads so you have to take a small boat to the island and then continue on tuk-tuks. White Beach is about four kilometers long and is lined with resorts, hotels, lodging houses and restaurants. In the central part is a footpath, known as the Beachfront Path, separating the beach itself from the establishments located along it.
White Beach is a very popular beach, in other words, it is not for those who seek tranquility.
