To The Stars: Invader Reaches Out To ISS

French street artist Invader, who took his name from the 1978 arcade game Space Invaders, is living up to his sobriquet by reaching out to outer space. Invader brought his umistakable images of video game characters, composed of square ceramic tiles, already to more than 60 cities in 30 countries. After sending his imagery into orbit with a helium balloon, he now went into the lion´s den, placing his signature tiled mosaics up at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne and the Euro Space Center in Belgium.
