Parisian buildings floating weightless to New York
French photographer Laurent Chéhère presents 5 new iconic “Flying Houses” at Muriel Guépin Gallery in the Lower East Side. Laurent Chéhere creates whimsical images of flying houses and other dwellings. The charming manipulated images, part digital, part analog are based on his strolling and browsing in the hidden neighborhoods of Paris. His reconstructed houses appear to float in a silvery sky of a dreamlike world. His second show in the United States is a two-persons exhibition, juxtaposing the airborne houses with the abstract paintings by Patrick Dintino.
Until February 22, 2015 at Muriel Guépin Gallery, 83 Orchard Street, NYC.
